The Sous Chef’s responsibilities include food prep and cooking, maintaining a fully stocked kitchen inventory, and complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To be successful in this role, you should be able deliver quality food on time and ensure all plates are properly cooked and served so our customers have a pleasant dining experience.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure on all aspects of food preparation and cooking are executed to standard
  • Execute all plates are properly cooked and served to deliver quality food on time
  • Identify and address below-standard food preparation?issues
  • Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques
  • Ensure proper training guidelines are followed and update Chef on progress
  • Coordinate food orders, food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
