[What the role is]
As a Maritime Drone Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational readiness of MPA and ensure safe conduct of maritime drone activities. You are expected to work closely with the Port Inspectors and are responsible for flying drones to assist in inspections, ensuring operational safety, and incident response. Depending on operational requirements, you are also expected conduct drone competency assessments and serve as a safety officer during flights. You will also lead the use of drones for incident response, leveraging drone technology to support quick and effective action in emergency situations.
