Location: New York City, hybrid, generally 2 to 3 days onsite per week

About the Role
A global financial institution is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer focused on observability, production reliability, and large-scale systems monitoring. This role will help engineering and operations teams better detect incidents, understand root cause, improve system performance, and make data-driven decisions across complex enterprise platforms.
This is not a general DevOps role. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building or enhancing observability capabilities using tools such as Grafana or Power BI and understands how metrics, events, logs, and traces support reliability in production environments. The role requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to lead discussions with technical stakeholders.
