Silicon Photonics Architect / PIC Architect

At iPronics, we’re scaling our photonic design activity as the number of tapeouts continues to grow.

To support this expansion, we’re looking for a Silicon Photonics / PIC Architect to join our Photonic Architectures team and help design the next generation of photonic integrated circuits.

What will you do?

• Design and simulate silicon photonic circuits and architectures
• Define system- and sub-system-level PIC components (coupling, polarization, monitoring, switching cores)
• Perform optical link simulations to evaluate performance and signal integrity
• Contribute to internal simulation tools and modeling workflows (Python-based)
• Drive R&D initiatives and propose new photonic design solutions
• Support verification across full tape-out cycles
• Translate system requirements into robust PIC designs and documentation
