Shipboard Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

Noblis MSD is seeking a Shipboard Engineering Technician to support U.S. Navy machinery control and shipboard systems for Arleigh-Burke class destroyers currently in active service. This includes hardware and software testing, ship grooms, and rapid response to CASREPs in support of machinery control systems across the fleet. The candidate will have experience as an electrical technician and the ability to troubleshoot control systems with the use of system documentation and electrical schematics.

*****This role will be based out of Philadelphia, PA and will also have a travel component (About 30-40% travel - Typical locations ore Yokohska Japan, Rota Spain, Bahrain, or Pearl Harbor. Planned trips are 2-3 weeks in length, emergent trips do come up and are typically a bit shorter)**
