Sewing Machine Operator

Nesco Resource has openings in the Hodgenville area for a Sewing Machine Operator. First shift: 7AM - 3:30PM. Monday through Friday.



Job duties include but not limited to:

• Operate a high-speed industrial sewing machine using a variety of materials, e.g., cotton, rayon, polyester and wool or combination of fabric contents.


• Measure, cut, pin, and sew fabric pieces.


• Fit, alter, and make made-to-measure clothing according to customers' specifications and guidelines.


• Press garments, using hand irons or pressing machines.


• Follow verbal and/or written instructions.


• Maintains sewing machine to ensure proper working order.


• Keeps working area clean and orderly.


• Attention to detail.


• An employee will be required to follow any other job-related duties required by the manager.
