Senior Software Engineer - AI Product development

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer – AI Product Development to join the Cortellis CMC team in Barcelona. In this role you’ll own the architecture and delivery of high‑impact backend services that power global pharmaceutical innovation.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute generative and agent‑based AI capabilities, including model integration, feature development, and iterative enhancements.
• Analyze and improve data and retrieval systems that support AI features, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Design and build integrations of AI capabilities into production services and APIs, ensuring alignment with security and quality standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services and APIs in a microservices architecture.
• Build scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions using TypeScript and Node.js (Nest.js).
