Senior Procurement Specialist

Job Purpose:

Manage the company's sourcing capabilities and supply chain by strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors and calculating and maintaining stock levels in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses and work stoppages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a positive Safety Culture and ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated, promoted and implemented within the Organization.
• Efficiently and effectively buy consumable and expendable (direct material) material for the Company's MRO operations.
• Deputize the Manager Supply Chain.
• Recover material shortages (DMAT) timely and reduce work stoppage time to a minimum.
• Manage the strategic and operational supplier relationship (performance management, quality adherence, on-time delivery, relationship, commercial aspects).
