Senior Node.js Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage backend APIs and services for web and mobile platforms

• Maintain and support existing systems and codebases

• Migrate and refactor legacy CoffeeScript into TypeScript to improve performance and scalability

• Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code following best practices



Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with CoffeeScript.

• At least 3 years of experience with Node.js and JavaScript.

• Strong experience with MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis.

• Skilled in Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (CloudFormation, API Gateway, AppSync/GraphQL).

• Familiarity with automation/DevOps tools (Jenkins, DataDog, Loggly).

• Knowledge of frameworks: Express, Lodash, Knex, Sequelize.

• Experience with microservices architecture & full SDLC

• Strong problem-solving & communication skills.
