Senior Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute mechanical engineering design for petrochemical and process plant projects
• Develop and review mechanical design documentation, specifications, and calculations
• Support project teams with technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle (concept through commissioning)
• Oversee equipment selection, sizing, and integration within plant systems
• Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, codes, and safety regulations
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering initiatives
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including process, electrical, and project engineering

Minimum Requirements

• BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 7+ years’ experience in petrochemical or process plant design
