Senior Estates Attorney

is seeking a senior attorney with 10+ years of experience administering deceased estates. The applicant will be the principal attorney responsible for the operation and control of a thriving Estates Administration department.

Applicant's responsibilities

• Oversight and administration of deceased estates
• Preparation and finalisation of Liquidation and Distribution Accounts
• Navigation of the office of the Master of the High Court
• Engagement with the South African Revenue Service on tax disputes in the context of estates
• Maintaining client relationships
• Growing the client base
• Managing staff
• Drafting Last Wills and Testaments
• Advising clients on estate planning

Qualifications

• Ten plus years of experience in the administration of estates (Non-negotiable)
• Five plus years running an estates department
