The Waldinger Corporation has an opportunity for a qualified Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Construction in our Des Moines Office.

Job Summary:

Performs engineering related duties for the design and planning phases of multiple and/or large, complex design and construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Preconstruction Duties: Leads peer review of design progress and coordinates with Operations Division on design and cost control related matters. Assists Operations in developing scope of work documents and schematic budgets. Collaborate with team members to identify and incorporate project goals.
