Senior Backend Engineer — Financial Platforms (Java + SQL)

• We are looking for a strong backend engineer with deep SQL expertise and experience supporting business-critical enterprise platforms.
• You will work closely with engineering, support, and business stakeholders to investigate data issues, enhance platform capabilities, and build scalable backend solutions for high-impact financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Analyse and troubleshoot complex business and data-related issues across enterprise platforms.
• Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database workflows.
• Support portfolio, accounting, and fund management-related applications and integrations.
• Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to understand workflow requirements and system dependencies.
