Account Manager Job Description

We are seeking an Account Manager to process accounting records accurately onto a computerized system, prepare annual financial statements, calculate taxation, complete statutory returns, and provide client liaison. Additionally, you will supervise and train junior and intermediate accountants.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise processing of client information
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash control
• Maintain fixed asset register and handle general journals
• Process journal entries and analyze trial balance
• Produce draft financials and working paper files
• Prepare notes to financial statements and formulate accounting policies
• Calculate tax liabilities and conduct tax planning
• Perform vouching tests during audits and reconcile VAT
• Complete statutory returns and manage client liaisons
