About the Role : The Section Manager – Butchery is responsible for managing the butchery section in the retail store. This includes overseeing meat preparation and display, ensuring product quality and food safety, supervising staff, and driving sales and profitability while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities :
Operations Management
- Supervise daily operations of the butchery section.
- Ensure proper cutting, preparation, packaging, and display of meat products.
- Monitor freshness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Manage stock levels to minimize wastage and shrinkage.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of meat products.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
