Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Linux Systems Engineer to join one of our clients in Quantico, VA. This person provides technical support of Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVCt) training events for distributed simulation applications and utilities. This is an onsite role in Virginia Beach.
Additionally, position requires flexibility as duties and responsibilities may be adjusted to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements.
Essential Job Responsibilities
• Installs new NTB software releases, upgrades, and patches.
• Provides engineering related support for NTB setup and configuration during the planning and execution of training events.
• Uses systems management software to monitor key simulation components and interfaces to respond to error conditions and ensure continued service.
• Troubleshoots problems and coordinates with other teams when problems occur.
