Sales Intern - Logistics

Job description Responsibilities - • Actively set up, plan and carry out client visits • Actively pursue targets via cold calls, in person visits, etc. • Achieve sales targets set by the Team Lead • Liaise with carriers to negotiate the best rates / terms required to close a potential business • Note : This is a field job and willingness to travel is a MUST Minimum eligibility criteria include - • Willingness to be on the field at least 70-80% of the time • Interest in pursuing a carrier in International Logistics • Knowledge of the ocean and air freight forwarding and shipping industry • Willingness to learn the subject • Willingness to pursue targets via cold calls, in person visits, etc. • Effectively handle customer enquiries • Must be well versed in written and spoken English and Hindi; additional languages a plus
