Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Summer Intern to join our Robotic Software team. In this role, you will create virtual replicas of existing autonomous lift trucks within KION, enabling new software developments to be validated in a safe and controlled simulation environment prior to field testing. You will also develop a simulated version of the SICK microScan3 safety laser scanner, helping reduce reliance on physical hardware during safety feature validation.
This internship offers hands‑on experience in robotics simulation, virtual validation, and software development, while supporting safe, efficient, and scalable autonomous vehicle development.
