Overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain the sales floor tidy and organized at all times.
• Set up product displays on the sales floor.
• Greet and assist customers in a welcoming manner.
• Present promotions and offers to customers.
• Assist customers in selecting items with helpful recommendations.
• Escort customers to racks and counters and answer customers' questions.
• Process payments by cash, checks, and major cards; balance drawers and ensure transactions comply with company policies.
• Assist with stock, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Maintain the back-stock area and report discrepancies to managers.
• Record daily sales by updating or creating sales records.
