Unity has engaged on a Regulatory Accountant search for a leading offshore energy exploration and production client located in downtown Houston. This position will be responsible for the daily royalties, severance tax and reconciliation activities including but not limited to:
Duties & Responsibilities Report oil, gas, and NGLs royalties and severance taxes in a timely and accurate manner to ensure correct payment obligations and reporting to Federal and State governmental agencies. Reconciliation of all general ledger accounts related to royalties and severance tax liability. Accurate calculation of Federal and State royalties and severance tax, including appropriate research into new or revised regulatory requirements.
