Registered Respiratory Therapist

A 130-bed community hospital in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a collaborative, experienced respiratory care team. The hospital offers a broad range of services including a 24-hour emergency department, intensive care, obstetrics and neonatal care, advanced imaging, and heart and vascular care.


The role. Reporting within a supportive respiratory care department, this therapist will assess respiratory status through focused exams, breath sound interpretation, and airway patency evaluation to determine appropriate interventions. Day-to-day care spans emergency, critical care, and acute settings and includes delivering evidence-based therapies such as oxygen support, aerosolized medications, and airway clearance techniques.
