Refrigeration Technician Role Overview The Refrigeration Technician repairs and maintains commercial refrigerated display cabinets and self-contained freezer systems. Based in Johannesburg, this role supports retail clients, primarily Shoprite, with both locally manufactured units and imported Fricon systems. Key Responsibilities Field Maintenance & Repairs

• Repair locally manufactured refrigerated display units.
• Service imported Fricon self-contained freezer systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical component failures.
• Diagnose refrigerant leaks and execute safe recoveries.
• Perform brazing, evacuation, and precise system re-charging.

Client Relations & Service Delivery

• Serve as primary technician for Shoprite stores.
• Maintain professional relationships with retail store managers.
