Radiologic Technologist

SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Takes radiologic films or other scans of various portions of the body to assist in the detection of foreign bodies and the diagnosis of diseases and injuries.

SCOPE: To function as an imaging technologist in the field of diagnostic imaging. To facilitate and coordinate patient care; delivery and effective communication within the medical center dedicated to the care of infants; children; adolescents and those with childhood conditions. Work closely with team members of the Radiology
Department
and other collaborating departments throughout the hospital and outpatient sites.
