Responsibilities:
The main function of a quality engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards. A typical quality engineer has the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and evaluate product integrity and standards. Coordinates quality objectives with other departments Drives continuous improvement by developing and implementing error and mistake proofing Keeps management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems Drive issues to closure through the various quality feedback loops Analyzes assembly process data to look for trends or possible upcoming concerns.
