Pulp Process Operator

The Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada location is seeking a Pulp Process Operator for the Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Mill. This is a permanent full-time position. The initial role involves working in the Mill’s warehouse driving clamp truck, with eventual progression to the Control Room Operator position. Onsite training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all safe work practices and procedures.
• Operate and maintain main mill equipment through continuous monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Operate and monitor clamp trucks.
• Maintain records of pulp production storage and complete bill of lading for trucks.
• Perform lockouts.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping standards.
• Complete a variety of pulp testing.
• Ensure internal and external customer specifications are met or exceeded.
