Project Accountant

Overview

The main objective of this role is to perform project and revenue financial compliance within OpenAir and NetSuite, including but not limited to project financial transacting (costings and revenue recognition) and reviewing, reconciliation and verification.

Responsibilities

• Project Finance Administration: Reviewing services sales orders and interpreting solution estimates, contracts, proposals, etc., and ensuring data on service SOs is in line with business unit, contract type, etc.
• Project Setups – work with project managers and set up project financials within OpenAir as required. Project financials include budgets (revenue, costs, hours per solution estimate), billing rules and revenue recognition rules.
• Weekly Costings – calculate and post weekly costings based on timesheets approved in OpenAir; review and resolve inconsistencies.
