A major client of ours has a need for a Procurement Manager for their Woodbury, NY location. This is for a manufacturing company. This position is onsite and permanent.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quotes from vendors and suppliers, negotiate pricing as appropriate for project needs, and organize quote information for pricing review.


• Source new vendors or suppliers and maintain existing relationships for reliability and growth.


• Coordinate with the Engineering and Technical team as needed for any questions related to project needs.


• Enter parts into the purchasing software system and provide updates on order status.


• Maintain purchase order documents in a shared filing system to ensure content is traceable, organized, and accessible.
