Process Control Engineer / Specialist
Location: Intercontinental Pulp, Prince George, BC, Canada
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain and optimize process control strategies and systems.
- Apply and formalize process control best practices across operations.
- Troubleshoot and support DCS and PLC-based process control.
- Lead control‑related projects from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage and coordinate contractors and system integrators to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance and engineering teams to improve process performance.
- Support commissioning, tuning and testing of control schemes and advanced control strategies.
- Ensure documentation, standards and change management processes are followed.
