Hays Recruitment has been retained to recruit a Principal Environmental Scientist/EIA Consultant for a leading Engineering Consultancy based in Cork.

Your new role

This role is based within the consultancy's Cork office. The successful person will work alongside engineers, environmental scientists and other staff on a large portfolio of infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include:

Project management of a wide variety of projects, ensures delivery on time, within budget and to high technical standards.

Liaison with clients, stakeholders, regulators, subcontractors and other internal disciplines.

Preparation of proposals and input into bids for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.

Managing project teams.

Working with the local and wider company teams across Ireland and the UK; and, providing technical support and mentoring to more junior members of the environmental team.
