Responsible for providing instruction to students in accordance with approved career preparation curricula in compliance with Department of Labor (DOL) and management guidelines.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Duties:
Provides students with basic direction, instruction, and assistance in the career preparation period per DOL program requirements.Develops and prepares lessons; recommends curricula changes and supplemental materials.Motivates and counsels’ students in areas of behavior, training, personal issues and study habits; coordinates with career development services and other staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and adjustment to center life.Provides aptitude and interest assessments for students, to assist them in choosing an appropriate career pathway.Participates on evaluation panels; prepares required documentation and evaluati...
