Platform BI Engineer

• BSc or Honours Degree in Information Technology or Analytics or at minimum a National Diploma in Information Technology or Analytics
• At least 2 years experience working in a data environment
• 2 - 3 years experience in ETL and data warehousing, Power BI and QlikSense
• Strong programming skill in Python and SQL
• Experience in working in a system support role

Responsibilities:

• To design, code, verify, test, document, amend, and secure data pipelines and data stores according to agreed architecture, solution designs, standards, policies and governance requirements.
• To monitor and report on own progress and proactively identify issues related to data engineering activities.
• To collaborate in reviews of work with others where appropriate
