Plans and Policy Officer

What the role is:

You will drive SID’s outcomes by developing good relations with other organisations, government agencies, and think tanks locally and abroad.

What you will be working on:

• Monitor external strategic and security issues that are of interest to Singapore
• Strategise, develop, and manage relations with a network of local and international partners
• Provide recommendations on policy formulation
• Monitor and support officers based overseas

Senior role responsibilities (if applicable):

• Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team
• Design and implement new workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind
• Plan and guide your team’s professional growth, in both general and technical areas
• Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential
