Pharmacy Technician - overnights

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician - overnights.

In this role, the successful candidate Under the direct personal supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for satisfactorily completing the responsibilities listed below.

Job Responsibilities:

Completes annual competency assessments.

Completes unit inspection and Expiration Tracking Report assignments.

Appropriately stores and secures, and routinely reviews stock for expired medications 

Places and expedites orders; verifies receipts; receives shipments as needed.Verifies accurate drug receiving and documents on the corresponding invoice or packing slip.Records receiving in Epic and supplier website as per department guidelines.

Demonstrates knowledge of State and Federal laws related to the Medical Centers policy of handling controlled substances.
