POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist III is responsible for the provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services related to a specific area of practice to optimize safe, efficacious, and cost-effective drug therapy in accordance with all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to The Joint Commission (TJC), Occupational Safety for Health Administration (OSHA), Medicare/Medicaid standards, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations.
