Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Master’s Degree in Nursing Education – Preferred Minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience including three (3) years of demonstrated leadership and teaching skills in Nursing, required; or satisfactory combination of education and experience. New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Preferred for Maternal-Child Health and Emergency Departments Educators Knowledge and skill in crisis prevention, which includes de-escalation techniques (CPI training) to be done in a yearly basis along with other nurse educator competencies Knowledge and skill in restraint/ seclusion training to the staff, which includes getting yearly competencies on restraint application Knowledge of TJC and CMS guide...
