Per Diem Pulmonary Function Tech - Bethpage

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem Pulmonary Function Tech - Bethpage.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing Pulmonary Function testing which includes Lung Volumes, Spirometries, and Diffusion Capacity. Perform Methacholine Challenges as required. Responsible for performing daily quality assurance on the equipment to insure the quality and validity of the tests performed.

Job Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as assigned.

Performs Pulmonary Function Testing. Performs FVL, FVC, Lung Volumes, DLCO, MVV as required. Checks and validates physician order for testing procedure.

Performs Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing.

Performs Methacholine Challenges. Efficiently schedules patients. Reviews schedule with Pharmacy to insure optimal utilization of Provocholine.

Maintains testing equipment. Generates appropriate paperwork to permit the interpretation of ...
