Per Diem Cardio Nuclear Med Technologist - Outpatient - Mineola

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem Cardio Nuclear Med Technologist - Outpatient - Mineola.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the physicians in the delivery of safe, age-appropriate patient care during procedures in Nuclear Cardiology. Works collaboratively with the RNs and MDs in a Health team forum to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes and quality care.

Job Responsibilities:

Consistently complies with regulatory and WUH policies governing safety standards and infection control. Complies with Intersocietal Accreditation Commission Nuclear (ICANL) Standards.

Performs Nuclear stress testing, cardiac viability studies, calibrations and quality control procedures.

Organizes the nuclear stress schedule. Responsible for maintenance and ordering of nuclear equipment and supplies.
