Responsibilities

Ensure that Trican's core value, Safe equipment and operations is the priority in all activities Oversee and perform full-cycle payroll, including hourly, salaried and variable employees Work on in-house payroll function responsible for all payroll entry, payroll reporting and payroll inquiries Ensure timely and accurate preparation and processing of semi-monthly payroll in compliance with provincial and federal legislation; includes accurate payment of wages, deductions, taxable benefits and any other payroll related matters Maintain confidential and accurate records of payroll transactions and HRMS data Coordinate with Finance on payroll entries, reconciliations, and both external and internal audits Generate and analyze regular and ad-hoc reports as required and as requested Mentor, train and supervise payroll employee(s) Maintain standard operating procedures for payr...
