Responsibilities:
The main function of a Payroll Clerk is to compile and post employee time and payroll data. May compute employees' time worked, production, and commission May compute and post wages and deductions May prepare paychecks. Responsible for processing and reviewing multi-state payrolls to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies and government regulations. Ensures employees have proper tax jurisdiction setup and required forms. Analyze and remit benefit deductions. Assists in preparing input for special payments.
