Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Outside Plant Engineer to join our client’s team in Delhi, NY. The Outside Plant Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and preparing construction projects that play a critical part in ensuring network reliability, capacity, and future growth through careful analysis, design, and coordination of outside plant facilities.Responsibilities

Plans and preparations for construction of new aerial and underground lines, cables, and conduits, as well as the removal or rearrangement of existing facilities.

Analyzes traffic loads, available capacity, and existing infrastructure to forecast projected demand and determine required construction, rearrangements, or removals.

Selects optimal routes for outside plant facilities and determines appropriate equipment requirements.

Prepare detailed construction and installation drawings.
