Job Summary:
Baltimore, Maryland — The organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician to join their team. The role involves applying and adjusting splints, casts, braces, and other orthopedic devices, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment. The technician will fabricate casts, set traction units, and maintain orthopedic supplies, supporting patient care in the orthopedic department.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of experience, Certification as an Orthopedic Technician/Technologist.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior employment within the Johns Hopkins health system is preferred; candidates with previous experience at Johns Hopkins facilities must have been gone for at least 1 full year before applying as a traveler.
