Job Description
Acquires equipment then sets up, operates and captures time of event data at test site. Compares timing delays between muzzle exit source trigger and receiving instrumentation. Relocates, sets up, troubleshoots, and operates muzzle exit equipment which include Muzzle Exit Systems; and associated equipment, including: video cameras, optical triggers, acoustic triggers, light event detector triggers, electronic triggers, video recorders, GPS timing units, computers, and generators. Takes direction from senior technicians. Performs operator-level maintenance on equipment. Assists in troubleshooting triggering issues. Mentors junior technicians. Maintains records and logbooks.
