Accountant Position

Well established international concern that supplies machinery for the Mining and Construction industry has a position available for an Accountant.

Qualifications and Experience

• BCom Accounting Degree
• 3 – 4 years experience in a similar environment (construction and mining companies)
• Deal with both Namibian and South African subsidiaries (Accounting and Financials)
• SAP B1 experience
• Sound knowledge of IFRS

Duties

• Responsible for the full accounting function
• Trial Balance
• Compile management statement weekly
• Responsible for cashbook, debtors, creditors, costing and revenue analysis
• Subcontractors reconciliations
• Payment of creditors and salaries
• Depreciation of assets
• Reconciliations of VAT account and import VAT account
• Preparation of tax
