Middleware Administrator File Transfer (Intermediate)

Position Description:

Missions
-Support and manage middleware technologies within the global Middleware group.
-Work closely with Middleware Administrators in Montreal, the US, and Paris to manage middleware platforms located in Canada and the US.
-Participate in the on-call rotation, providing off-hours and weekend production support.
-Provide follow-the-sun on-call support to systems in multiple regions including Europe and Asia.
-Administer and support IBM Sterling technologies (Connect Enterprise, Connect Express, Connect Direct, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, etc.).
-Support relevant protocols including:
-FTP, SFTP
-PeSIT
-Connect:Direct (C:D)
-FTP/SSL
-Provide advice and best practices to internal clients and technology teams.
-Help implement and update team standards (installation, best practices, procedures).
