Medical Technologist (Clinical Laboratory Scientist MT/MLS/CLS)

Medical Technologists may rotate through multiple lab sections based on service needs, including:

Chemistry

• Operate automated analyzers (Client Architect, Client Alinity, Advanced Instruments Osmos, Polymedco OC80)


• Perform routine and STAT testing


• Conduct daily/weekly quality control and instrument maintenance

Urinalysis

• Perform automated and manual urinalysis testing


• Maintain QC and troubleshoot testing issues

Blood Bank

• Crossmatching


• Antibody screening & identification


• Cell panels


• Blood product processing
