Job Description:
- Evaluate task scope and define design requirements
- Prepare and maintain bills of materials and related 3D assemblies
- Create 3D parts and 2D drawings in line with supplier and regulatory standards
- Manage and maintain accurate product data within PDM/PLM systems
- Liaise with international suppliers and customers on design requirements
- Conduct concept and design reviews to ensure feasibility and compliance
- Support day-to-day customer engineering activities
- Develop creative and cost-effective design solutions
- Collaborate with purchasing and materials teams on part design and sourcing
- Work closely with analysis, test, and manufacturing teams to optimise designs
- Ensure designs meet relevant regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
- Continuously develop skills in CAD and engineering systems
