Mechanical Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a permanent role supporting the US Army in Albany, Georgia. This is a fully on-site role.

*This position requires an active Secret clearance

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer:

·Support infrastructure development and construction projects

·Perform technical assessments and analysis

·Recommend engineering solutions in support of facilities and weapons systems

·Ensure production goals are satisfied

·Work hands-on with heavy machinery

Requirements for the Mechanical Engineer:

·Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field

·Active Secret clearance

·Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks, AutoCAD or other

·Strong knowledge in materials, thermodynamic, fluid mechanics, structural analysis

·Experience with mechanical testing and failure analysis on heavy machinery
