Position Summary
The Master Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy construction equipment used in dredging and marine construction operations. This position supports field operations by ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mobile crawler cranes, barge-mounted cranes, conveyors, pay loaders, excavators, and other earth-moving equipment. The Master Mechanic performs advanced mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair activities across multiple job sites.
