Data Custodian (Material Cost Analyst)

The Material Cost Analyst will be responsible for supporting, planning, preparing and reporting the financial analysis as of customers' profitability and margin management as and when required by the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The employee will:

• Evaluate statistics on wastage and ensure that wastage is recorded accurately.
• Ensure deadlines are met for costing activities and that all prices generated are accurate.
• Complete price reviews as required, providing commentary to support the analysis.
• Review pre and post calculation reports, identify trends and work on improvement plans to address the negative marginal items.
• Ensure usage of pre/post calculation reports and other reports are properly used by analyst and report/resolve exceptions.
• Commit to and actively participate in any future business wide initiatives as directed.
