Material coordinator

Role Purpose

The Material Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the right materials, spares, and consumables are available at the right time to support mining, processing, maintenance, and shutdown activities. The role focuses on material readiness, coordination between departments, and proactive expediting to prevent delays, downtime, and production losses.

Key Responsibilities Material Coordination & Readiness Coordinate availability of engineering spares, consumables, tools, and critical materials for planned and breakdown work Ensure materials are ready and staged ahead of scheduled maintenance and shutdown activities Act as the link between planning, stores, procurement, and operations to ensure material alignment Prevent work delays caused by material shortages or incorrect issues Planning & Maintenance Support Work closely with maintenance planners to understand material requirements for weekly, monthly, and shutdown work Review job plans and material lists to ensur...
